Our Story

604builders was started by two longtime friends & co-workers who knew they could make a difference in the residential construction industry by challenging the status-quo.

Chris started 604builders wanting to make a difference in the market and bring exceptional experiences to clients.

Leveraging his 16+ years of residential, commercial, & operational construction successes combined with a strong customer service background, Chris strives to ensure that all his clients receive exceptional products, service and a great customer experience.

Never content with the status-quo, Chris is known for working tirelessly with staff, trades and clients streamlining process that ensure our projects are delivered on time, on budget and exceed customer satisfaction.

When Chris is not delivering amazing projects and client satisfaction, he can be found on his bike, skis, or in the mountains.  Not content with challenges at work, Chris has competed in and completed multiple bike races – ranging from multiple one day events all the way to three 7-day grueling mountain bike stage races.  Most recently Chris devotes his spare time as a volunteer ski instructor with VASS – a program that provides snow sports programs for people with disabilities at all three Vancouver mountains – Grouse, Seymour and Cypress.

Paul brings a wealth of design & construction knowledge to the team. Having trained in Architecture in the UK, he set up a design & development urban regeneration company in his home city of Manchester, repurposing disused commercial spaces & carving up oversized Victorian houses into funky & eclectic residential spaces.

Paul loves to travel and his journey brought him here, to Vancouver, 20 years ago. He set out to make a difference, launching The London Loft Company on the North Shore, Having spent the past 12 years designing and building loft spaces across Vancouver, Paul now readily admits he’s knees cannot take the hard hands-on labour anymore.

Paul is passionate about sensible design, stretching the dollars, repurposing, building green and avoiding unnecessary land fill.

His focus at 604builders is creative project design & detail, permits, project management & customer liaison.

When not delivering projects, Paul is either out running or coaching youth soccer with NVFC. After a mildly impressive soccer career (depending who you talk to) he stepped into marathon running and has so far completed 12 including the Polar Circle Ice Marathon up in the Arctic Circle and in 2018 was proud to finish the legendary Knee Knacker Ultra-Marathon here on the North Shore.
